Meeting & Event Space

We offer a variety of spaces which can be used for events such as meetings, workshops, conference calls and other gatherings. All spaces are booked first come, first served through our coworking booking service, Cobot. All of the revenue generated through space bookings is used to fund our mission of empowering founders to launch energy technology solutions.

Our open spaces can host between 40 and 100 people while our conference rooms can hold between 5 and 30 people. The classroom seats up to 50 people. If you need an event space for three hours or more, we offer a 20% discount on your space rental.

Changes to Rentals due to COVID-19

Due to the ongoing pandemic, maximum capacities for each room are temporarily reduced. These new capacities are listed with each space. Additionally, we are adhering to all State of Ohio guidelines for preventing the spread of the pandemic. You can view these guidelines here.

In addition to & in support of these guidelines, we require that all guests wear masks & practice safe social distancing procedures, and we are currently prohibiting outside food for all events. In turn, we wish to reassure you that BRITE’s facilities are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly twice a week & BRITE staff cleans all high touch/high traffic areas daily for the safety of our guests.

Conference Room 1

This first floor conference room is 12′ by 22′ and can accommodate up to 30 people for meetings, trainings and presentations. Rental of the conference room includes use of the television, conference call system, video conference camera and whiteboard. The room is available for only $40 per hour.

Due to the pandemic, this space can accommodate 8 people.

Conference Room 2

This first floor conference room is 10′ by 13′ and can hold 4 people for private meetings and discussions. Rental of the conference room includes use of the whiteboard. The room is available for only $10 per hour.

Conference Room 3

This second floor conference room is 12′ by 29′ and can accommodate up to 20 people for meetings, trainings and presentations. Rental of the conference room includes use of the television and whiteboard. The room is available for only $40 per hour.

Due to the pandemic, this space can accommodate 6 people.

Entryway Gathering Space

This large, open space on the first floor measures 30′ by 30′ and can accommodate over 40 people. It is a great space for parties, fundraisers, large meetings or trainings and press conferences. The L-shaped space includes a kitchenette area and a speaking platform with podium. Rental of the space includes use of your choice of rectangular and/or round tables, chairs, the whiteboard and audio/visual equipment. Available for only $50 per hour (payable only by check).

Due to the pandemic, this space can accommodate 15 people.

Mezzanine

This large, open space between the first and second floors measures 20′ by 60′ and can accommodate over 100 people. The space runs along the BRITE Energy Labs and serves as a great space for parties, fundraisers, gatherings, presentations and other large events. Rental of the space includes use of your choice of rectangular and/or round tables, chairs, a stage and audio/visual equipment. Available for only $50 per hour (payable only by check).

Due to the pandemic, this space can accommodate 25 people.

Classroom

The classroom on the second floor is approximately 18′ by 40′ and can seat up to 50 people for trainings and presentations. Rental of the classroom includes use of the projector and screen. The room is available for only $50 per hour (payable only by check).

Due to the pandemic, this space can accommodate 12 people.

Booking Larger Spaces

If you are hosting an event in the First Floor Open Space, on the Mezzanine or in the Classroom, we do request that you pay a $200 security deposit via check when you book your space. You will promptly receive this money back after your event because we know you will adhere to all the safety guidelines in place, you won’t damage our space or property and, in the event that you need to cancel your event, you’ll give us 24 hours notice! If you aren’t able to do these things, we will be unable to return your security deposit.

We also require that these spaces be paid, in-full, via check before your event. If you cancel your event with more than 24 hours notice, we will return the full amount you paid. If you cancel your event with less than 24 hours notice, we will return the amount you paid, less the $200 security deposit.
