John has 10 years of public accounting experience in providing auditing, attest and advisory services within the Energy, Renewables & Industrial (ER&I) Industry. John has served a wide range of clients, from large public entities to private companies, including those which are private equity backed.

John is one of the Deloitte’s Greater Tri-State ESG Committee Leaders, the Chief of Staff of the Deloitte IP&C Industry ESG Champions Network, the founder of Deloitte’s Greater Tri-State ESG Manager Development Program, he is an accounting industry ESG published author and an advocate for innovating new ways to implement ESG into a Company’s Financial Reporting Framework.

Bill has 9 years of experience with Deloitte providing Tax services and advice within the Energy, Renewables & Industrial (ER&I) Industry. Bill is also a Leader in Deloitte ESG Champions Network. Through Bill’s experience with ESG, Bill helps Companies plan for or leverage their existing operations to benefit from the clean energy credits and incentives that are related to the Inflation Reduction Act. Bill specializes in the IRA’s Production Tax Credits, Investment Tax Credits and the Clean Electricity Production Credits.

In other areas of Federal tax credits, Bill advises clients regarding tax issues related to tax equity transaction structuring, due diligence and financial modeling with a focus on Production Tax Credits and Investment Tax Credits for renewable energy projects. Bill also advises clients how to leverage their ESG efforts and the Inflation Reduction Act to benefit from potential tax credits.
