POSITION TITLE:  Executive Assistant

POSITIONS SUPERVISED (TITLES): Interns

SALARY: $40,000-$45,000

Executive Assistant Summary

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the President/CEO and helps support the day-to-day functionality of the organization and board.

Duties of the Position

  • Providing administrative support for the President/CEO, including calendar management, travel reservations, scheduling, and related clerical support.
  • Responsible for the creation of executive reports and conducting data research
  • Organizing and maintaining BRITE’s physical and electronic documents
  • Serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors by scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and transcribing and distributing committee and full board meeting packets
  • Providing occasional clerical support in support of directors/managers
  • Acting as an HR liaison for our staff of 19 persons by scheduling employee performance reviews, communicating employment benefits information, in support of onboarding and offboarding staff
  • Uploading and coding receivables and payables
  • Managing employee timesheet compliance and access to grant and contract management systems
  • Maintaining vendor relationships including legal, human resources and IT
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • This person is an experienced assistant responsible for organizing the day-to-day activities of the President/ CEO while also assisting in some of the operational functions of the organization.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and data management (CRM -Hubspot and Salesforce).
  • Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners.
  • Ability to multi-task, independently learn and problem-solve and work in complex environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • This individual must be on site at BRITE’s main office in Warren, Ohio
