BRITE hires Deanna Hamilton as Finance Manager

Energy tech incubator adds staff in effort to streamline operations

WARREN, OHIO – April 23, 2020: BRITE Energy Innovators, Ohio’s energy tech incubator, has named Deanna Hamilton, CPA, as its Finance Manager. This newly created position was added in response to a growing organizational need for financial expertise and to streamline operations.  

“As BRITE diversifies and expands its services, it’s necessary to bring someone on to manage growth,” said Sara Daugherty, Director of Operations and Economic Impact. “Deanna’s wealth of experience in fiscal management and her entrepreneurial background make her an exceptional fit to manage BRITE’s finances.”  

Hamilton comes to BRITE with more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience. She has managed accounting functions for companies in a variety of industries, including oil and gas exploration, manufacturing, and professional service organizations. In addition, she has created and run several small businesses.  

Previously, Hamilton served as a senior accountant for Belden and Blake Corporation in North Canton and currently manages accounting for Covenant Petroleum and Scribe Public Relations, both based in Leetonia. Most recently, she served as firm administrator at BWLK CPAs in Salem, Ohio. 

Hamilton earned her bachelor’s degree as a double major in business and accounting from Malone College in Canton. She earned her CPA certification shortly after graduation. She lives in Columbiana County with her husband and three children, whom she homeschools.
