BRITE adds to growing team; expands entrepreneur programs

Warren, OH – BRITE Energy Innovators has welcomed several new professionals to Ohio’s only energy incubator, located in Warren.  

Britt Corsi has been named Project Manager at BRITE.  As BRITE’S Project Manager Britt spearheads the next phase of growth for our entrepreneur programs and member engagement. Britt brings a Midas touch and 10 years of startup experience developing products and operations across software, engineering consultancy, blockchain, and marketing.  

Corsi is an entrepreneur herself, having launched EarthXYZ and EarthABC, Inc. Both startup companies worked to unlock climate action at local levels by connecting municipalities and commercial real estate properties with financing opportunities and procurement needs.  The Cleveland native conceived her first startup solution during FedTech’s NASA Startup Studio.

Nick Frank has been named Entrepreneur Services Program Manager at BRITE where he will ensure the BRITE member companies have the resources they need in order to succeed. Nick will leverage his experience to identify gaps and continuously improve BRITE’s service offerings and grow BRITE to receive national recognition as a leader energy tech incubator. He joined BRITE because of his passion for entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation. 

Nick holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and a M.S. in Energy Science from Ulm University.  Additionally, he has experience as an entrepreneur himself, having been a part of several start-up companies, one of which being Li-ion Tamer, where he helped develop and commercialize a lithium-ion battery safety technology in the Utility Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle space. 

Lucas King has been named Startup Experience Specialist at BRITE.  In that role, Lucas is responsible for ensuring early-stage energy technology companies are prepared to move forward with creating long-term sustainable businesses. Lucas is a recent graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he studied Business Administration and Chinese. During his collegiate experience, he also engaged in multiple opportunities to help prepare himself for a career in entrepreneurship. 

In addition, BRITE has added Beth Barbush to its growing team: 

Beth joined the BRITE team as Office Specialist.  In that role, she aids operations, sales, community events, and tours of BRITE’s headquarters as well as serving as an administrative resource to the team.  Beth has extensive experience in diverse areas such as sales, event management, catering, customer service and more.  As a valley native, she spent over a decade managing cellular and internet-based sales teams at a time of rapid growth.
