BRITE Energy Innovators seeks to immediately hire a Marketing Intern to assist with a variety of projects including but not limited to enhancing BRITE’s branding efforts, assisting with digital marketing efforts and designing processes and policies to increase stakeholder value. The Intern will apply knowledge in graphic design, social media, web content management, web analytics, and customer-relationship management. The Intern will work with the Director of Operations and Marketing & Events Specialist to build BRITE’s national, digital and community presence. The Intern must be able to work on-site for a minimum of ten (10) hours a week with a flexible schedule and additional hours off-site. Hours may fluctuate depending on workload.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare content for BRITE’s digital marketing channels
Monitor marketing & advertising campaigns and prepare progress reports
Assist with the planning and marketing of signature events and event series
Build BRITE’s sub-brands including BRITE Coworking and BRITE Energy Labs
Design and implement critical stakeholder experience improvements for three functional areas
Candidates for the internship should be familiar with Adobe CC and have strong communication skills. Experience with planning and hosting events, content and media creation and/or service marketing is a plus. BRITE will work with higher education entity for educational credit. Compensation is $12 an hour.
