BRITE Energy Innovators Appoints Three New Board Members, Strengthening Its National Leadership in the Advanced Energy Sector
New members bring deep expertise in federal energy policy, public-private partnerships, and technology commercialization.
WARREN, OH – BRITE Energy Innovators (BRITE), Ohio’s only energy technology incubator, continues to expand its national influence in the advanced energy economy. As the organization accelerates the commercialization of cutting-edge energy technologies and fuels regional economic growth, BRITE is proud to announce the appointment of three distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors.
“As BRITE takes on a more prominent national role, we felt it was incredibly important to bring nationally respected voices to our Board of Directors here in Warren, Ohio,” said Rick Stockburger, President & CEO. “We have an unprecedented opportunity to commercialize early-stage energy technologies. To succeed, we need expertise in commercialization from the private sector, public sector, and policy arena to create good-paying jobs, drive economic prosperity, and accelerate the advanced energy economy.”
The new members officially began their three-year terms on January 1, 2025, and are eligible to serve up to two consecutive terms. BRITE’s newest Board Members are:
- Irina Filippova, Chief Operating Officer, Electrada [LinkedIn]
- Jeremy Harrell, Chief Executive Officer, ClearPath [LinkedIn]
- Jetta Wong, President, JLW Advising; Former Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy at US General Services Administration [LinkedIn]
The appointments reflect BRITE’s growing national impact and its commitment to building a dynamic, forward-thinking board that can support its expanding mission.
In addition to the new board appointments, BRITE is pleased to welcome Patricia Grospiron as Vice Chair of the Board, effective in 2025. Grospiron currently serves as Executive Director of The Builder Platform at The Engine, an MIT spinout focused on transforming tough tech innovations into scalable solutions. She brings a wealth of experience in startup strategy and innovation leadership to her new role on BRITE’s Executive Committee.

In 2023 alone, BRITE-supported companies generated over $236 million in economic impact. As a non-profit incubator and accelerator, BRITE supports more than 150 advanced energy startups through a range of services—from mentorship and access to capital to technical support and commercialization expertise. Signature programs include CXO Services, offering fractional executive leadership for growth-stage companies, and BRITEnetwork, a free membership network connecting energy stakeholders with monthly DOE briefings and innovation-focused webinars.
