Statewide Startup Weekend

Whether you’re studying engineering, business, or just passionate about sustainability, Startup Weekend is your opportunity to collaborate, create, and launch solutions to address tomorrow’s energy challenges.

You’ll be problem-solving with your team, consulting with with expert mentors, and pitching your ideas to a panel of industry leaders. Each team will work to solve one of three challenges in the following topic areas:

Social Good

You can expect:

Ideation: Form teams, brainstorm solutions, then share your ideas.

Building: Bring your idea to life through a rapid design thinking process.

Mentorship: Receive guidance from experienced entrepreneurs.

Validation: Put your ideas to the test with subject matter and industry experts.

Pitch: Refine your presentation skills and present to win up to $2,000 in cash prizes.
