FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

No experience necessary. When it comes to entrepreneurial experience, consider this event as an opportunity to "try it on for size" in a low-stakes environment. Our expert mentors will guide you along the way.

The event will be held live and in person.

You should enroll individually, as teams will be formed at the event.

You will receive hands-on mentoring from industry pioneers and thought leaders from regional universities, innovation centers, and guest mentors from NASA Glenn Research Center.

Each team will need to choose only one challenge to participate in after the challenge details are presented on opening day.

There won’t be assigned homework, but teams are welcome to work offsite. Onsite, the agenda will mix learning and participation activities with breakout sessions for teams and mentoring.

Full participation is required for competing teams in order to be eligible for prizes.

Personal effects, laptop or tablet, smart devices, notebooks, and anything else you'd usually bring to class. Dress for indoor and outdoor weather (bring a sweater or sweatshirt). The most important thing to bring is a creative spirit and your imagination!
